The Greater Johnstown Camera Club is one of the oldest clubs in Johnstown (Pennsylvania) dating back to the late 1930’s. The Club’s purpose is to promote and encourage the art and craft of photography through education and participation. Membership is composed of men and women from all walks of life; amateur as well as professional. Meetings are held at the Community Arts Center in Westmont on the first Thursday of each month, beginning at 6:30 pm. In addition to conducting Club business, each monthly meeting includes a speaker and intra-club print competition. All meetings are open to the public. Other activities include field trips, seminars/classes, shooting sessions, competitions and displays, annual banquet, summer picnic, and Christmas party.
Any person, seriously interested in photography may apply for membership. Members under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
